For your convenience we have compiled a list of answers to commonly asked questions:
Yes. Collection is available in Pretoria and George (to be confirmed).
Please be aware that there are no set locations or collection times (these are subject to the availability of team members).
We strongly encourage our customers to make use of the courier delivery option as this is the safest option. However, should you want to collect your package directly from The H Word, we will send you an email when your order is ready for collection which will contain the address you can collect the package at as well as the times we are open for collection. Please note that you will need to provide your name (or the name of the person you are collecting on behalf of) and your order number before receiving the package.

Should you decide to purchase any of our incredibly stylish items, all you have to do is the following:
- Click on the shop tab on the main page of the website.
- Click on the item you are interested in and choose your preferred colour.
- Click ‘Add To Cart’.
- Go to your cart
- Check that you have all the items you want and click ‘Proceed To Checkout’.
- Fill in your details on the checkout page.
- Click ‘Place Order’ and pay through the website via PayFast.
- You will be sent a confirmation that your order has been placed and will receive a follow up email from orders@thehword.co.za.
In the event that you do not make use of a VISA Card, Masterpass, Zapper or SnapScan, the following option is available. (Please be aware that this process can extend the duration of time between placing your order and your order being processed):
- Send an email to The H Word at info@thehword.co.za indicating what you would like to order, quantity, colour, choice of courier and address.
- The H Word will respond with a proforma invoice indicating total price and reference number.
- Using the EFT method make your payment into The H Word account using your reference number.
- Email your proof of payment to info@thehword.coza.
Once your payment is visible on our system, a confirmation email will be sent from orders@thehword.co.za confirming the processing of your order.
No.
However, newsletter subscribers may use their once-off Welcome code on items that are on sale.
Yes cancellations are accepted within the period before your item is shipped out, a 10% cancellation fee shall be deducted.
Cancellations on custom orders will not be accepted.

We will deliver new items to you once we have confirmed the sequence of events that has caused your items to be damaged or lost. This may cause a delay in delivery time.
