Wherever you are, at work, at home, in the club, stretch out your feet, lean in closer and rest those beautiful faces on your hands.

Let us talk about how everyone is scurrying. How everyone continues to scurry. People get on your nerves because they’re not doing what they’re supposed to be doing – their minds are on vacation. Don’t make threats. We don’t want the police called on you – we don’t deliver to prisons. Instead, make a silent promise to yourself to get revenge later. This way, the offending party is not forewarned in any way (we kid).

Ah, not the story you thought you were going to get?

Then let me tell you a story about you instead. How hard you’ve worked this year. How far you’ve come in such a short space of time, even though you may not feel that you have. When you look back to the beginning of the year, do you feel that you’re the same person? Or has something about you changed?

Or perhaps you’re making moves towards a change.

Maybe you’re finally able to buy a Christmas present for yourself, maybe you’re getting married, perhaps you’ve decided to change your career path or start a new venture. Maybe you’re about to grow a baby.

Everyone is having babies. Just everyone. We’re everyone.

On a serious note: Changing your hair, even making a decision to not straighten it as often, can be a catalyst that opens you up for change in other areas of your life. After all, any change in our appearance immediately welcomes both praise and criticism, and if you can weather those small criticisms, you could probably weather the louder criticisms that come with bigger changes. You’re stronger than you know.

Although you don’t have to endure everything (but that’s a story for another time).

Public Service Announcement:

Many of our orders this year were delayed due to load shedding. We sincerely apologise. We make small batches at a time and the equipment such as sewing machines and irons are electric.

Load shedding will most likely continue to plague us with biblical intensity in the Year of Great Hair 2023. 

We can only say that we’re working on it. We’ve hired a new seamstress in order to share the workload and, hopefully, get orders out on time.
